i was lent a wt yesterday and asked where i could get my own copy.
i learned that you print your own or get a tablet.. i couldn't determine if the congregation actually receives hardcopies anymore.. what's a poor brother to do?
ink's expensive and tablets .

That's what I figured about the spares, but none were to be found. I guess the shipments now are for a much smaller number.
Take care.

Greetings:
I was lent a WT yesterday and asked where I could get my own copy. I learned that you print your own or get a tablet.
I couldn't determine if the congregation actually receives hardcopies anymore.
What's a poor brother to do? Ink's expensive and tablets . . .
THANKS!

i'm sitting here listening to google music (which is great btw) and decided to put one of bob dylans newer albums on.. oh mercy.
it's a great album.
i remember it coming out.
Mathematical ratios don't account for the emotional impact described, but time and its scope are viewed differently -- albeit not consciously -- by a youngster as compared to an older person:
One year is 20% of a five year old's life, whereas the same time period is 2% of a fifty year old's life. How does this "reality" account for time's dragging or its flying past us? I once expressed myself algebraically, but I'm no mathematical theorist.
I dunno . . .

Life goes by so fast. Maybe I'm we're just getting old.
It's OK, Simon. We will grow old in this system. I'm no longer heartbroken . . . ((((()))))

i discovered that my newly refurbished imac powerbook g4 will not install a flash player -- 'not supported by your computer's architecture.
' i was disappointed that many videos on fb would not play.
yet, when googling the same videos and finding them on youtube, they play great.. what exactly is a flash player and why don't they install on either of my imacs?
Thanks, Simon!
That's what I needed to know.
Much appreciated.

What exactly is a flash player and why don't they install on either of my iMacs? What research I did seems to indicate lots of bugs in FP.
Your expertise, as always, is appreciated.

i have written before about my jw friend that plays hookie with me on sundays.
we skip the meeting and go straight to lunch and margaritas.
she converted later in life and has been a jw for over 25 years.. she is in her late 70's and has had heart problems.
The Bible is all about life lessons, how to treat your fellow man...do not think too much of yourself, be bold yet humble enough that even something as simple as standing on line & you have alot of groceries & the person behind only has a few items, what's the harm in letting them go before you, giving up your seat on public transportation, giving your umbrella to someone in the rain, especially if you are close to home, not thinking selfishly, not thinking the world revolves around you, money will not buy happiness, it will provide comfort, but that's all & it may extend your life a little longer because you can afford the doctors, but when it's your time....it's your time. The bible helps one to live an unselfish life & not take advantage of people.
Thank you, Legacy. This is a good place to be, but much of what I read discourages me, despite its being TTATT. What you wrote makes me feel good.
With gratitude,
